Joe Dorne

Qualifications: BSc(Hons) MCSP MHCPC

Specialist Areas:

  • Manual Therapy
  • Movement Re-patterning
  • Sports Physiotherapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Pilates Classes and 1:1 Pilates (Matwork)

Professional Career:

Joe has worked as a physio in elite sports (with Tottenham Hotspur no less!) in the NHS and private practice since qualifying in 2010. He also spent a year living and working with amputees in Bolivia and speaks fluent Spanish ¡Entonces si quiere hacer su sita en español, solo hay que pedir!

Joe is fascinated by all aspects of human movement and health, and loves to help clients understand and live better in their bodies, as well as just getting better after an injury. Joe uses a combination of hands-on manual therapy and exercise based rehab, but can often be found in the gym rolling around on the floor with his patients.

After a wasted youth obsessively competing in amateur boxing and Muay Thai (Thai style kickboxing), Joe’s own movement practice is now hugely varied, including Brazilian jujitsu, capoeira, rock climbing, weight lifting, yoga, Pilates and running. If you attend any of his Pilates or movement classes you can see the wide range of influences for yourself!
